Yes, very important. I try once in a while to reduce the sugar a bit and use milk instead of cream when making my own coffee. Milk and sugar in the tea.
At the bagel shop in the building concourse at work, I get them to zap a milk cream combo for my coffee in the microwave.
65% tea - 35% coffee.
Tea - regular tea bag + 1/4 tea spoon oriental tea. ( jasmine or Oolong, buy at oriental store )
Sometimes Earl Grey tea with some evaporated milk.
Coffee - President Choice coffee, roast beans in cast iron pan before grind. + 50/50 evaporated milk and 3% milk.

Coffee more in the morning and tea in the evenings. especially mint tea since I came back from Morocco in March. Moroccan coffee is also next level (with spices).
My niece's husband is in love with his Nespreso, he never fails to make me as many cafes as I want during Sunday Dinner. I prefer my stovetop instead of a coffee machine, grinding the coffee beans fresh each morning.
Remember if you go to Italy always ask for a cafe. If you ask for an espresso they'll know you're a tourist and treat you like an English bed-wetting types.

I went to Italy and always asked for a cafe, one guy took one look at me and asked, in English, if I wanted a coffee and then tapped on a pot of drip coffee with an american flag taped to it, or an espresso. I crankily responded "espresso, espresso!" and I will die mad about it.
Black Tea straight up in the morning…steeped at least 5 minutes for full effect.
Once in a while a large Dirty Chai Tea Latte when I’m outta gas and my ass is draggin mid afternoon. And I down it quick in about 10 minutes. For those that don’t know Dirty is an added shot of espresso to the tea. Zinggggg! Should almost be illegal. Gets me totally wired. Gotta get home before the crash though
