Anyone see the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond" where Rays wife is PMS'ing? I believe Ray is commiserating with his brother or a friend. He says something like "At least if a comet hit the earth I'd have a few moments of more happiness than I have right now"! By the end of the episode, nothing has changed for Raymond. The show ends with him looking up to the skies and saying quietly "Come on comet"

And it's quite apropos that there is a comet in a near miss orbit passing by our little blue planet today...

So, come on comet...

Comet, asteroid, I don't care if it's 1954 Dodge hurtling through space to hit the planet. I NEED SOME ESCAPE FROM THE HELL I'M IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously, I do believe you are correct sir. It is indeed an asteroid. Comets are much larger!

That usually works wonders. Or so I'm told.

A lot simpler than being annihilated by a comet-slash-asteroid, at any rate.

Well, feel free to say it, but only if you really, really, really enjoy getting smacked in the head with household objects.

Nothing stresses out a cranky and PMSing woman more than being accussed of being cranky due to PMS.

Yes, I know this makes no sense. It doesn't matter. Just accept it, and move on.
