I wanted to know how many of you identify yourselves to the girls you see. I mean when I first started in this business I didn't have a single client tell me about checking the review boards. Now it seems like everyone I see tells me they found the agency on the board. Most have also asked my opinion on being reviewed and whether I want one or not. It is surprising to me how many of you are now "out of the closet". Would you rather the girls let you know if they are also on the boards? Why do some of you choose to identify yourselves, and why do some not?

It really doesn't matter to me if the lady I see is on the board or not, although I know a lot of them are. Sometimes the topic just comes up during the conversation. In my experience, the ladies I've told have given positive feedback as it's nice to be able to put a face to the name. Usually, we'll both end up having a good laugh over some of the stuff that goes on around here! LOL :p

In a trap
Speaking For Myself......

.....if I book with a lady I have not seen before, she will know who I am, (real name) and pretty much everything else about me thru our back and forth e-mail dialogue!
If she brings up TERB, I would probably "fess" up my handle and my activity! Otherwise, the subject would not be raised.
Would I review her? Not likely, unless TERB has come up in conversation and the issue of reviews was a topic.
Then, any review would only be with the ladies approval!
When I'm with a lady, I want to express myself as who I really am, not as some pseudo entity!

Willywants (to be true to himself and those I'm with!)

I guess I agree with you. I am just wondering if you have a bad time with a lady would you think twice about a review if you knew she was on the board?
Or do you use it to win points with some girls if you know they are on here, and put up a good review?
Oh by the way Dr. Love 20% off your next booking for the props. ;-) (tee hee)

I will admit, when dealing with some of the less reputable agencies I have worried about being "outed" as retaliation for a negative review.

Duckin in the trenches

I posted a bad review and got banned by the owner of a company for it.

It was short lived, as he discovered there was a problem with his girl.

It has made me think twice before a negative comment, now I think I'd be evasive. As in

So and So, Great legs.

Did I say she had ugly face, no hygiene, and or terrible stretch marks?

The answer is you are better to stay anonymous, wait a week or so before reviewing, and severely pull your punches.

how do you

Kerri how do I review a lady when she needed a severe douche?

How the heck can I post an escorts name and say something like that?

You really can't tell the agency, I could not tell the girl.

This is what got me in deep KaKA!!!! I posted the nasty. To be fair I phrased it rather.... well sort of in a way that it had a severe impact. It was funny but probably not for her.

She deserved it after all that happened on the call. I even got pm from some girls who took exception to the remark.

I'll repeat the remark WITHOUT the name here if everyone promises not to flame me.

coming out of the closet.

i find myself always discussing the board with sp's i see more as a fun coversation than anything, especially as all the sp's ive seen over the last 3 years or so are contributers to the board. im sure it doesnt effect the level of service. I usually dont post a graphic review, thats just me. Ive seen annalee a couple of times recently and quite frankly had the best time ever...if i had a negative experience i would certainly mention it.

for what its worth Paul/IT...i love your place !!

Why

Why post a review that says nothing more than

Sp Jane is great had great time will repeat.

Also you can come out of the closet anytime if those are your reviews. She has nothing to fear, your neg review would read:

Sp Jane was not all that good, did not have very good time, will not repeat.

If you provide a detailed critical review, it invites retaliation. I would recommend you think about the availability of services to you from an agency that is pissed.

Take a look at the reviews from veterans, they are battle worn and contain softer suggestions of bad service.

I would like to mention plusses and negatives. But what if the service was just negative. When the nicest thing you could say is then she left with my money. I have seen escorts that have maybe 1 bad review in 5. If all factors are equal, and depending on the negative reviewer (I look at his posts) I might see her.

The question here is do I tell her when she comes thru the door.

NO, because I want her best perfomance in my encounter.

I never identify myself as a terbite when I am meeting an sp. If the subject comes up, I will certainly admit I read terb, but that's about it. I don't personally believe in the notion of mentioning terb as a way to wrest better service from an sp. There are a few sp's and agency people who know exactly who I am, and I may have gotten some preferential treatment because of it, but again, it is not something I wear like a badge or anything.

I've never had any compunction with posting a bad review, but truthfully, it has been a really long time since I have had a really bad experience, which is due in part, to reading terb. But I have to admit, it would be harder to post a bad review, and I would more likely pull my punches, if I knew that the girl knew who I was.

Homonger, I think you summed up my attitude perfectly. I don't advertise it, but I won't hide it also. I started to post something earlier, but I didn't like the way it sounded, too verbose. You got the salient points across very succinctly.

This question was also discussed (briefly) in Terb is the best review site....

There are a few ladies who know my TERB handle - and whether they`ve entered that information in their agency`s databanks is something I don`t know! There are many more ladies I`ve seen who don`t know have this information.

I used to talk about TERB a lot - back when I had just discovered the board (March `01-ish) and was still periodically convulsed with laughter at the whole concept. There was probably also some desire to let the lady know what a big-shot man-of-the-world I was, having been ripped off so many times in my youth when I didn`t know the score - and they knew I didn`t!

I lurked on the board for about five months - I had, and still have, a problem with the concept of saying something publicly without signing my name to it. It was only 411 on Kylie and Chloe @ VIP, a heartfelt plea for information on a girl who really does have star quality, that prompted me to sign up.

Nowadays I don`t initiate talk about the board. I`m happy discussing it if it comes up in conversation and I`ll reveal my handle if asked - but otherwise no. It`s just not necessary.

I have met one young woman who was desperate for a review, as she`d been working for about six months with no feedback ... I was willing to wait a while and post something ... but alas, her service did not have that "star quality" (or otherwise exceptional attitude) that would prompt me to review without a fellow-TERBite`s request. Nothing wrong with the service, I hasten to add ... but it was merely competent. If she`s asked about specifically in the next little while, I`ll respond.

I will agree with Kiarra that sometimes I will find it a little uncomfortable if someone has immediately identified themselves as a reader of Terb. I find it is harder to relax. I am always afraid they will write something nasty about me. In the past it seemed that happened to a lot of girls. Now either the girls have gotten friendlier or you guys have become friendlier, but people don't seem to flame like they used to. That's a good thing. Anyway I like when they ask before reviewing so I do hope that is a trend that will stay.
Oh and Ted I am also a TEDAHOLIC! There I am out of the closet now! ;-)

Intersting points of view...

I leave it up to the hobbiest to tell or not tell...

Now a lot of them tell... It makes it fun to flame each other after you have had a session (This only appeals to some peoples sense of humour)

NOW... My only problems are...

1. SP's who can not fess up but shoot their mouths off... At least I do it as Jenn Angel. If you can not use your work name then why post it.

2. The PM back stabbing I know happens on many boards... PM campaigns are childish to say the least... If you have something to say in a negitive way post or or keep it to your self. It is a maturity thing.

3. People who look down on the industry who either hobby or post negitively. If you don't like it don't come here/hobby.

I don't want this to start a flame war. It is not meant to it is mearly my opinion... I am sorry if I offend anyone here.

I never tell them my handle on the Boards and use another e-mail to chat beforehand. Call me paranoid if you like but better safe than sorry,

I rather like the anonimity of the board. In here I can say more or less anything I want on any topic. If true life, there are things I won't discuss openly such as sex. I mean, i'll talk about sex with certain people, but I won't get into details like DATY, BBBJ etc which I can do here.

I will not tell a lady I know of her through TERB unless she asks, "How did you locate me?" In the past, mentioning TERB led to a certain tension in the air. Understandable really since the lady knows that she is almost assuredly getting reviewed.

There are 2 ladies who connected me with my handle. It's interesting really - I think my personality comes through in my posts and that's why these 2 ladies were able to make the link.
