Compressing Video Files into ".zip"

Looking for a free, stable, efficient and reliable software for the above mentioned application. My browser is "Firefox" but could not find any "Plug Ins". Used BitZip in the past but trial period has
elapsed.

Peazip is another worth the try, but 7-Zip is great for simplicity.
You can even use 7-Zip as your file browser, faster than Explorer and all his icons to draw...

What is meant by ".exe for 32-bit" and ".msi for x64" ?

How do I go about finding this information from my operating system?

Have you seen what compression ratios you get when compressing video files? It's pretty close to zero, because most video files are already heavily compressed.

I second 7-zip. It has all the compression formats and functions (eg. password encryption and decryption) of the major paid compression software like WinZip and WinRar, and it is a freeware.
