Condoms suck... I hate them... can't find one I'm comfortable with...

ahhh. it's only latex. not the best for a toilet, but much safer for the environment than what comes out of your car's exhaust, or the dish soap/laundry detergent/shampoo you wash with, or hair dye...
throw them in the garbage. they're more environmentally friendly than the garbage bag, itself... or better yet, did you know latex is recyclable?

municipal sewage treatment plants are pretty good at screening objects from the treatment and settlement ponds.
What they do with the non-treatable debris is a guess: landfill, incinerate?
So where's the difference, down the toilet then to the landfill, or in a bag to the landfill?

As rub says: there are all kinds of meds showing up in our water supply. I watched a program and because of all the birth control pills in use (is it estrogen??) the chemical is ending up in our streams and rivers. I forget another chemical they have started finding in fish....
As for putting down the toilet: sorry, not to be rude but I've had dumps that are far bigger than a flattened condom. If it clogs the toilet you've got bigger issues.
Whether we throw them into a landfill or the sewage treatment plant does, what difference does it make?
(only real issue is if our sewers overflow and dump directly into the lake, they wash up on shore.....)
