A little FYI, not one politician cares about their constituents, maybe a small local rep in your friendly little town. But then they'll get eaten up by the entire system and they either become corrupt themselves or they get kicked out in the next election.
While that is no doubt true about some it is also the case that many go into politics out of a true sense of public service. In the US and particularly in the house with its 2 tear term Myers are forced to be constantly fundraising and running. If the Dems are letting Biden continue to "get rid of Trump's embarrassment", why would they keep someone in power who makes Trump look effective and ethical by comparison? There must be someone in the Democratic party who: a) isn't on the take, b) can speak coherently, and c) has a basic understanding of the economy? Maybe Joe is just the best they have!
