#1 is the worst case scenario:

1) Casa @ last minute: CUC $30-40
2) Drinks CUC $20
3) Taxi to and fro (say Casa de la Musica in Miramar, casa in centro) - say CUC$20
4) Girl CUC 60-100....I paid CUC 100 in 2007 when I was so stunned by the girl's beauty - she looked like a latina Lindsay Lohan...and bustier. I had to have her and she knew it. If I had walked away I would have regretted it for the rest of my life.

Throw in the exchange rate of 0.7 and yep, at least C$150 for a night of fun. But C$150 will not get you anywhere as far in Toronto, esp with the girl of your dreams.

Yes, that is a worst case scenario, and C$150 for a gorgeous girl is not a bad deal at all, although you can pay a lot less in other South American countries, where you pay local, much cheaper prices.

Regarding the "casa", I want to clarify that the place was not terrible, just worse than a motel 6

That's one way of looking at it. And a very good way at that. Still, you can have a great night of passion and lust, with two girls even, for much less than that in Havana. Outside of Havana, in the smaller cities, it even comes down from that. In the end, you can't go wrong. I just came back and I'm already planning my next trip.

Bridgeman , Wetnose, can you recommend a nice casa in Havana. I have stayed in a place in Playa/Miramar with a great family that gave us total privacy. The house is occupied the week i am going.
