In all the types of sex work I did , dancing was the worst. I did it during the summer of 2011 at Barbarella when it was still there and even if I was basically a spinner back then, it was incredibly brutal to hustle .
I desperately wish there was strip clubs that took all kinds of body shapes - I've always wanted to be a stripper!

Just my opinion but I think it is a cruel world when a woman is trying to market herself based on physical appearance. If a woman is going to decide to try dancing, then they need to be able to handle rejection and realize it is not personal. Stripclubs and dancers must appeal to the masses. A club with dancers of all kinds of body shapes would start to look like a sideshow and not a stripclub. Don't tell me that it is based on anything else because anything else cannot be evaluated from across the room. There are a lot of customers that are only looking for a look or style before deciding to spend money. With that said, after you have made the decision to spend time with a dancer a connection on another level can be established. No offense intended, but it sounds a bit like you're projecting your own preferences onto everyone else. The porn industry had the same hangups back in the 1980s and 90s with producers assuming that every single consumer wanted everyone to look like Jenna Jameson. But today we see performers of every size, shape, age, and ethnicity getting huge fanbases of their own. I think OF has been really good for showing people that pretty much anyone can be someone else's type, and you're starting to see that reflected in pretty much every form of sex work, from burlesque all the way to escorting. I don't see any reason why some stripclubs couldn't at least try a bit of the same approach.

Sometimes I think we like to say we like variety in strippers, but we don’t really mean it. When Claire was dancing at Barbarellas there were far more more comments criticizing her because “she didnt have a stripper body” or “had a face made for radio” than there were defending the varying interests of her clients.
From what I’ve seen over the years, more of us will gravitate towards a coked out spinner than will take a chance on a curvier girl or plainer faced girl no matter how good her personality
