Does anyone know the "best" way to recover a damaged original application CD? I went to reload the program and the disk is unreadable. I have read several methods from forcing the disk to be read and recovered to using qtips and cleaning any possible scratches. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

Don't know how badly damaged it is but Blockbuster offers a disk repair service. Nominal charge might be worth looking into. I also find Pioneer and Sony drives read alot of "bad" disks just fine. Maybe get an external. Good luck

just call up the company and ask for a replacement...they'll ship it to for a nominal charge.
If it is a pretty old CD, this is your best option.
