Danforth restaurant recommendations?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good (and moderately priced) restaurant on the Danforth, between Broadview and Pape...particularly suitable for a first date.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Astoria Shish Kebob House - food is good and has outside patio

Myth - more hip lounge and bar, food is OK

Pappas Grill - pretty good for a date, food is good

If it's Greek food you're looking for, you cannot go wrong with Omonia Bar & Grill.

Besides Greek, all the Indian Restaurants on The Danforth are exceptional.

Omonia, Astoria and Athenian Gardens are excellent for dinner

Pappas Grill for lunch

The food, service and atmosphere at Myth has always seemed over rated to me

Have a great time.

Suggestion, get your Cards or Palm read locally after dinner. It's a bit pricey but it's fun to do on a first date as it opens up a few more conversation tidbits. The psycics, LOL, do an excellent job of working the two of you closer together.

If its is still there its Christinas on the Danforth I know when most of the stars use to come to town they ate there alot....

The best restaurant on the Danforth is the Palace Greek restaurant but it is al ittle north of pape and danforth by maybe 40 meters.
Make reservations and have the Swordfish or Snapper.

It's not the best, it's simply the best of the Greek places. Though you are correct, their swordfish is excellent.

The best non-Greek restaurants on The Danforth are:

Sher - E - Punjab - excellent tendoori chicken.

The Silk Road Cafe - Chinese with Thai and Vietnamese flavours.

I went to a place called Kokkino recently. It's in a red building right across the street from Myth. It was a nice, fairly calm place at first but really picked up in a big way around 10:00. Good food too!
