Decline of SC's in K-W/Guelph

For the first time in a long time I actually stopped by the Manor in Guelph on Friday night. I was there between 7:00pm-9:30pm. The only comment I can make is why did I do that? In those 2.5 hours I saw a total of 7 dancers. All were ugly, over-weight, eurotrash, and scary. I was really scared with one "woman". Tall, black hair, over-weight, euroaccent, bad b-o and breath who almost made me vomit when she tried to get a dance from me. There was another scary looking blonde who seemed completely drunk or stoned or whatever and was stumbling around the bar. Another "dancer" had to be almost 60 years old. I almost went screaming into the night! I did see Ivy around 7:45pm for about 7 seconds before she disappeared never to return from the back room, but she's never given me the time of day so it didn't really bother me. The best looking woman in the bar was the bartender. I stuck it out for over 2 hours in the hope that I would see a shift change into some nice lookers in the night but it never happened.

My question is: What has happened to the SC scene in the golden triangle? A decade ago the Manor, Roxxannes, Dollhouse, Mirage, etc. were the places to be for hot and outgoing women. I remember the late 90's at the Manor. On a Friday night there would be 30-35 hot dancers and a complete packed house. A guy could get whiplash from all the looking around. Dances were $10 or $20 depending on which room with no price-gouging "club" fee.

I am wondering what everybody's idea is as to why the decline? It has really hit rock bottom.

The only idea I have is that with the MP scene in the area it is just not worth it for a $20 lapdance per song (+ club fees) compared to the $120-140 value at most MP's.

Bylaws and LE enforcement... plain and simple. For dancers it's all about money. When there's no money to be made... they move on.

I think DJ1470 has it right. The Manor costs $3 to get in + $7 for a drink +22 entry to vip. In 1/2 hour you will get about 5 dances so that's $100 = $132 for 1/2 hour of feeling up. You can go to a 1/2 hr. incall for about the same price and go all the way on a comfortable bed. I'm not familiar with the pricing of the mp's in this area but I'm sure you can have a pretty good 1/2 hr for that price as well.
To enter the $52 room and partake in extras for a 1/2 hr. you will probably spend what a full hour in an incall costs and again you have a comfortable bed, total privacy and a shower instead of being restricted to sitting up posistion on a soiled sofa and the need to be disecreet from people walkinig past the doorway.
There is the additional problem that often when you refuse extras or to be sold up to the more expensive room the girl develops an attitude.
This hard core hustling and the costs have taken the party atmosphere out of the place. The Sundowner in Niagara is the only club I know that has been able to maintain the party atmosphere. The otheres have become hunting grounds.

Business bad at the strip club....too fuckin bad.....they brought it apon their own sorry asses with all the tricks and shit mentioned above. I NEVER waist my time in them anymore.
And as far as those greedy hags go here's my official fuck-off to those bags. I hope they read this. They can go flip burgers for $8.50 an hour. I don't support there industry any longer.

Kind of a shame for the young guys though. We used to have some great times in the local SC's.

Back in early to mid 2006 the Doll House was being investigated for:

... improper touching and services being provided which were not in plain or unobstructed view of the main stage. The inspections undertaken by licensing staff also found evidence of an area that was obstructed from view. Since that date, the WRPS have forwarded several other incidents of improper touching and other violations of the Municipal Code.

Frankly, who needs it? For my money, there's not much point in putting up with "vanna danse?" hassling, air dances, $20 VIP charges, overpriced beer etc. etc.

Can't speak for Cambridge or Guelph, I'll have to defer to the experts in those areas.

I can't agree more, I haven't frequented a SC in years. In fact I haven't frequented a SC since I found the "hobby".

There is still the odd time that I drop into a Trinity club in Mississauga. Something about a girl in a skippy oufit and high heels that gets the little head thinking about the VIP. However the KW/Guelph/Cambridge scene is only a memory, I doubt it will be back for a long time.

I fully agree with Stash. Fuck them all, I spent way too much in those dumps over the years and what ever customers are left are being gouged. It is not worth it. The strip joints had a good thing going but they have all become a bunch of greedy pricks and not offering much value. Fuck em all.
