Thanks for the replies, even though they got a bit off topic! Ended up booking a suite at the Holiday Inn, at woodbine/steeles. Good price, big room and family friendly. Thanks again!

I suspect we were no help at all; by the sound of it you found your own hotel and it was quite suitable

please do not allow the family to eat at Frankie Tomatos just up the road. I, and several others over several visits, enjoyed food reactions: hives, nausea, other unspeakable acts. Definitely FT's fault. About 1km further up Woodbine are numerous healthy restaurants.
