It's worse than just the cost issue. Women's razors, even with the same number of blades, are often much worse then even generic men's blades. Female targeted shaving cream also tends to be much thinner and worse than the stuff for men.I hate how these products are so gendered. I don't buy the more-expensive pink razors anymore.
Women are often better off using the male products, depending on how thick their hair is. I've cut the bejesus out of myself with ladies razors and shaving cream several times, across several girlfriends. I've bought a number of girlfriends male targeted shaving gear (and cans of one second plumber for clogs) because I'm a romantic guy.
