I hate how these products are so gendered. I don't buy the more-expensive pink razors anymore.

It's worse than just the cost issue. Women's razors, even with the same number of blades, are often much worse then even generic men's blades. Female targeted shaving cream also tends to be much thinner and worse than the stuff for men.

Women are often better off using the male products, depending on how thick their hair is. I've cut the bejesus out of myself with ladies razors and shaving cream several times, across several girlfriends. I've bought a number of girlfriends male targeted shaving gear (and cans of one second plumber for clogs) because I'm a romantic guy.

The best deodorant I own is this crystal stick thing I got in Thailand.. Its amazing.. You run it in water and then rub, soooo sooo good!! It just stops the sweat smell no really scent or anything, but helps you get rid of the BO. Idk if you can find it online? Goodluck haha

I use an alum block after shaving. This is an astringent. I think your Crystal product is the same material as my Alum Block.

Maybe with razors. I usually buy the men's blue version of the same razor brand (rather than the girly pink and more expensive one), and they are pretty much the same, but I buy the disposable ones. If you go higher in the quality, maybe they're sturdier to shave more efficiently coarsed beards? My hair is to thin and light, I don't need top quality.

But deodorants, I am sure they are more interchangeable then we think.

I imagine the biggest difference is the scents typically used. I've had fewer issues with woman's deodorant than razors and shaving cream.

Not that I try to mooch a girlfriend's hygiene products. When I was younger I'd visit a girlfriend who was finishing her school in a different city. I'd be in a rush, and forget half my toiletries. I also didn't have a lot of money at the time...

It's safe. It just so happens that some can create a conspiracy theory out of anything. Just find one that works for you and use it, or at least be thoughtful and stay away from public places! The waft of folks who do not use deodorant takes over a room like a train coming into the station at full speed.

I've tried every product under the sun. Avoided anti-perspirants early on. If I use anything, I use deodorant, but try not to use anything. I shave my armpits which I find helps manage odor. Before I head out on a date I rub my armpits with min. 70% rubbing alcohol to kill the bacteria. It totally nullifies the smell. Sometimes even after I shower you can still catch a faint whiff or odor left by the bacteria. Rubbing alcohol periodically will do the trick. I wouldn't recommend using it daily as it may dry out your skin or worse.

Have you tried Tom's brand? It's the healthy one I use. On the expensive side but I have noticed they packaging lasts. Usual 24 hours easy. Very low smell. I get the mountain spring.

I have somewhat dry skin so deodorant became a funny thing for me. At 15 I noticed I always itched in my armpits and my doctor told me to change the type. I chose a new one and have used it ever since. Weird thing though, when I got to my early 20s I would get hair boils anywhere there was pubic hair. From armpits to pelvic area. To solve the problem, shave whenever it got too long. These days just shave every 6-8 weeks and moisturize. However when it comes to deodorant same thing every time because most of the other types don't keep the skin hydrated.

Everyone is different but for me, I find that if I shower morning and evening with lots of lathering up and thoroughly agitating and rubbing the skin in my armpits, crotch and feet with any shower gel, soap etc that I don't develop any malodorous smell. Like REALLY agitate, rinse, repeat.

Offensive B.O. is usually just dead bacteria off-gassing, fermented and decaying dead bacteria. Washing the dead bacteria right off the surface of your skin is the key. Using anti-bacterial soap, or alcohol throws off the healthy skin biome balance. Then it might rebound with bacterial overgrowth and smell bad, but different.

And I do sweat. In fact some summers I've even get my armpit sweat glands botoxed.
