The political values on the right today cannot be characterized as anything else.
There is no true conservatism anymore.
We live in a post-truth, reactionary era where ideology has replaced principle, and grievance has replaced governance.
What is supposed to have stood for cautious stewardship, institutional respect, and civic responsibility has devolved into spectacle, denialism, tribalism - an obsession with race, gender and sexual orientation.
It’s no longer about conserving anything — not traditions, not institutions, not even democracy itself — but about domination, disruption, and the erasure of shared reality.
That is "Nazism" on a very fundamental ideological level and a deeper look will even reveal similarities in rhetoric.
You descriped Liberals to a tee.

We`ve been here before. They are not Nazis. My Grandfather fought actual real Nazis on the Atlantic during WW2. My Dad fought actual real Nazis in Europe, Italy and Holland, in WW2. If these people you say are Nazis now, problems would be dealt with, ruthlessly and efficiently, rather than sweet fuck all ever getting done. I once shook the hand of an old woman who played in a symphony in Germany, for Hitler. She met him and shook his hand, I guess I`m a Nazi too.
I thank your Grandpa and Dad for their service.(y)

You just can't deny what I said. That's the best part.
There is nothing to deny. You were wrong.
And if you think you were not wrong, it is you that needs to justify your characterization of the Liberals, which as usual you haven't been able to.

Is there anywhere I can find something closer to true conservatism than
true liberalism? In the Liberals' party?
You would have to define "true conservatism" in some way.

But even if you did, no political party that could gain power in a first-past-the-post system would ever reflect it to you.
All parties are going to be coalitions and will have some variety in ideology in them.

I don't think one needs to define "true liberalism" before they decide
whether to vote the Liberal Party of Canada. But if there is no
true conservatives in the Conservative Party of Canada which
may pass as the Nazi Party of Canada as implied in certain posts
I think it is for good measure to define what the party stands for if
not "true conservatism".

I completely agree.
But if people are going to say "there are no true conservatives" anymore, they need a definition of what that is supposed to be in the first place even before they need to define what they think the party currently stands for.

you keep yapping about Nazis

but you my friend as a commy supporter are much worse than Nazis

Nazis killed about 20 mil people

your commy leftists killed more than 200 million

you are no angel

and the only business Liberals know how to take care off is how to fill their own pockets with taxpayers money
Interesting how you fail to take into consideration all the right-wing authoritarian governments who've killed millions as well. But, here's a shocker: @Shaquille Oatmeal is not a communist. But, I understand how watching right-wing memes and conspiracy theorists have clouded your ability to understand what that term actually means, and I don't really feel like I have the patience to educate you on something you should've learned in high school. It really is sad....The only saving grace is that you didn't say the Nazi's were a left-wing party....Though I suspect you probably believe that...

What about Carney? Is he a Liberal or a Conservative?
Facts matter so let me teach you the way, and chip in a little will ya.

So it is a fact Carney is a Liberal. Is it also a fact Poilievre
isn't a Conservative?

and your point?
My point is to ask you a question so as to figure out if
what you said here:

Harper is a nasty Conservative, but Pee Pee is just a yellow stream who, at the moment,
doesn't have a pot to swim in.

is as factual as saying Carney is a Liberal.

ps...Please be respectful and call Poilievre by his proper name, PEE PEE, thank you.
I used to call Trudeau by his last name and occasionally his first
name. Was that disrespectful?
