Do tell me the turn on in this...

What is the thrill or turn on for these men(if I can call them that) who book an appointment with an escort knowing they are NOT going to show????

I know it is part of the bullshit we go through as SP's. What type of mantality does this?

I can see why some, usually in larger cities and alot of dungeons require a fee down. Time is money. This is a business....Our time is a valuable as the clients.

It really is a piss off. Guess that's why the assholes do it.

More to add to the list.

Kelly, pissed of are we? (The Royal We)? Did you get stood up? Can't imagine why anyone would stand up a lovely creature like yourself, seriously. Love the glasses and lingerie.

I'd be pissed as well and unfortunately it seems to be all too common these days. But remember there's problems on both sides of the business. I'm personally tired of receptionists or ladies telling us one description over the phone and then they're actually 5-10 years older and 30-50 lbs heavier. I'm also tired of looking at escort websites that show pictures of ladies that don't even come close to the lady you see at the door. Maybe that's just some of the risk we all take in this business or hobby. Sorry to hear about this guy... remember his phone number and fake name. He'll probably try again.

Three reasons why (not good ones, but reasons)

I could hazzard a guess that the person or person(s) who do this are not regular customers of anyone. Usually it is one of the following reasons"

1. Some one is pulling a stupid prank (kind of like ordering a pizza and having it deliverd to your neighbours address, this is why food delivery services ask for call back numbers)

2. The customer got cold feet, and didn't know how to bow out gracefully

3. The customer realized that you weren't his type after all, and was a clod who wasn't mature enough to cancel.

don't let it get to you and don't post about it they tend to get off on the attention you give them this happens to all of us

Personally, what I believe is that these are the same men that get turned on by looking at porn on the internet, they stumble across you web page and love your pics etc... They read what you do and think wow I can call her up and then invision her all dolled up and waiting for me. Only they know you will get all dolled up freshly showered etc... Just the thought of this makes them happy and able to get off. But take it in a positive way as most time you will require advanced notification to arrange an encounter with a Gentleman. I have found myself lots men will forget about that advanced notification (or maybe not but give it a shot anyways) and this is an opportunity for great customer service. :p

Trolling is a form of recreation for some. It gives them a sexual thrill to discuss real potential sex that they cannot follow through on. Much more thrilling than phone sex. Usually for economic reasons but more often for situational reasons -- i.e. they are married or live with their mom. That's why you never book without confirming the phone number and calling back. All kinds of excuses for people who cant do this. Thats their problem not yours.

Hi,

I venture to guess that m-m-m-most of the guys who might phone you to book an appointment they have no intention of keeping, are doing so to give themselves the more clear understanding that it is that easy to do. This is similar to how men respond when everyday (non-working girl) women who seem socially appealing speak of being single and unattached. Even if they're out of our league, we still open our minds a bit more to a happier future just knowing that those women are among the available women out there.

In this case, just knowing that they could share an intimate evening with you is an enhancement from their perception of the world as it was yesterday.

Yes, that doesn't make it right, or acceptable to you, but you did ask about that "mantality".

And no, I have never done this at all.

I thought of this last night as I was leaving a SC. I followed a girl out, walking past her, and noticed her looking around. I asked if she was missing someone, and she said her customer, who was taking her "next door", which turned out to be a local motel. Seems he had the nerve to see her in the club, ask for take out and then took off. That would seem to take a lot of nerve!

Now thats taking a risk. In an SC thegirl is surrounded by her friends and bounces. if that guy shows his face and is recognized again he could get his ass kicked.

On the phone or online you have the anonimity on your side, not to mention a wide selection of peoplewilling to entertain your inscincere advances.

Oh come on everybody, don't get your shorts in a knot, please.
As I have written before, all business has it's share of "stand" up.

I have dragged my self out of bed at 4am, driven to the airport, flown across the country, rented a car, arrived at the appointed time for a formal presentation, and been told by a clerk, that it would be "inconvienent" for the board to meet with me today.

It happens to anyone with customers. Do not take it personally!

Thats so funny. It happen to the VP of our company all the way to the U.S.n and the guys he was suppose to meet had left the country on business and completely forgot about him he was pissed. He ended up going back a month later and got the business.

Unfortunately Kelly this might not even be any kind of "client" at all. Remember, you're in the Niagara area and we do have some idiots around here who think this type of game is so hilarious because they are really lacking any real life (or business for that matter) of their own.

I'd like to say thanks to those who offered feedback on this. For the few that thought I was whinning on the matter. It has taken me two years to post a vent on this matter. My only peev actually. I never stated it doesn't happen to others in other professions. I simply stated it pisses me off and I don't get it. I also stated it was part of the job.....and all go through it. Noooo I am not a prima donna.

In the case that brought me to the vent....I did call the contact number the day before to confirm. He answered it and confirmed the appointment. It was an out of town area code. For I am familiar with Niagara bogus nonsense....thanks Diva.

Kelly my friend, it is indeed upsetting to have a no show. A cancellation is one thing but a no show is just plain bad manners. I had one last night. Gent posted about being with an older woman. Wrote and booked and did not show. I understand nerves and I understand cold feet, I do NOT understand not calling and cancelling. Happens all the time. Trouble is sometimes we turn down a regular to meet them !!!! Gents wonder why we sometimes double book lol. Just my 2 cents, Maryln

I know this might not sit well with any of the sp's but honestly? Now you know what it is like being a man in the new millenium.

I have had no-shows oh, maybe 20 times over the last 10 yrs....these are non-sp women who make a real date with me then for whatever reason, don't show up, aren't home, and don't even bother to call.

Just proves that there are assholes on both sides of the sexual fence.....
