Do you bf's of MPA's and SP's get nervous about catching STD's from your SO?

No matter how obvious it is for SP's and MPA's to use condoms for safe sex, some are not as safe and strict when they lose self control. Do you bf's trust your sex worker SO by going bareback with them? Are you afraid that not only are you at risk to catch STD's but also Hepatitis B or C from them if they perform DFK and rimming? If not, you may not know it, but she may be doing some high mileage and unsafe practices without you knowing it....BEWARE! Sex worker bf's: Go for mutual checkups frequently especially if you're banging her bareback....been there.

if it was up yer arse, you'd know.
* There is a hep B shot, it's not hard to get it from your doctor. Anyone who works as close with human bodies as SP's do should get it, but it really seems like the kind of shot many people should get anyway. Frig, we're talking about a disease you can get from a toilet seat!

* Hep C is more of a blood disease than an STI, per se. You can get it from having sex more likely if it's the dry, bareback variety, anal etc if there is an exchange of blood somehow, but it differs from something like HIV in that it isn't passed through vaginal or seminal secretions. transmitted by blood only..... DFK and rimming are extremely low risk for hep C.

* Yep, not fun all around when you're SO is doing something high-risk that ends you up with an STI or dangerous virus. The worker should be getting checked up on regular basis anyway, just to be safe and keep an eye on things, it's the prudent thing to do. But it might be a nice thing to do together....make an afternoon of it, catch a movie, go for ice-cream, get scraped.....

Not for hep C specifically though, that's my point. For hep B rimming would be more risky yes, but daty would be just as risky anyway.

Depends what you guys mean by "risk" as there are a lot of STD's that you can catch whether or not you use a condom. Just that they won't kill you, and many can be cured. Still it's unpleasant to have warts and mouth sores, even if they don't really cause serious harm.

I would think if you are an SP or involved with an SP who does DFK, DATY, etc., then these minor things are pretty much inevitably going to be part of your life.

Obviously the risk of HIV, etc., is higher whenever someone is having sex with a lot of different people. SP's are generally far safer than other people who have a lot of sex since they tend to be much more careful about using condoms and such. If you go to a bar and pick up a girl you are probably running a MUCH higher risk as probably somewhere she got drunk and slept with someone without a condom. Ditto any kind of "open" relationship. SP's do what they do as a business and tend to take the condom thing pretty seriously.

A condom doesn't stop everything though, just that it does tend to stop the things that would kill you.

What about BBBJCIM by the SP? Does that mean the risk is higher for SP than the client?
Well, a lot of people are in denial about this one, but the answer is "yes". Well, the HIV risk is higher for the SP who offers this service (even if it's not a sky-high risk, it's a gamble that many are not willing to take). The transmission risk of other STI's this way are probably about equal for both parties (you can get syph, gonorreah and chlamydia with bbbj).
