Do You Watch TVO?

The history and science shows are great to watch because of the absence of commercials. TFO (French TVO) used to have fine European films on at 9pm
every night. Was nice to have them on in the background, commercial free and character-driven films. Not a superhero or alien to be seen on the screen thank God.
TVO produces very good Documentaries in house as well.

Yes, my first exposure to what is now being called slow TV was on TVO. Like going to relaxation therapy in my own home.
Yes I used to watch Jordan Peterson on TV or quite a lot before his fame. I found The children programming When I was a child to be a bit boring. Way too conservative. Bland. Safe. With the exception of the teen science and business education.

I used to watch A&E mostly and not TVO but somehow lost A&E with Rogers.
A & E used to be good. But mostly lousy now.
The had a four part Bob Guccione doc a few weeks ago that was o.k. though.
I also had A & E with Rogers years ago. I managed to watch the Guccione thing online.
He was worth peanuts when he died of cancer compared to his high flying mid 1970s days at his New York mansion. He also had horrible relations with his kids.
I also had the Smithsonian channel years ago but cancelled that also.
American Heroes channel is fantastic but I have seen most of the shows on that channel.
A lot of channels and shows these days seem to be murder mysteries(think 20/20 or Dateline).
For the most part, I do not find them interesting.
