We're not "interested in other people's sex lives". We are trying to learn and understand. Did you actually read the original post?
What makes people have fetishes?

Their business as long as they don't harm anyone else.

Sex is biological. You either produce eggs or you do not......
But it is nowhere near as binary as people like to claim.

And gender identity is something different than biological sex.

One very interesting study was comparing the brain structure of trans people. There are certain developmental brain structures that tend to differ between men and women and a significant number of the trans people studied had brain structures that matched their gender identity rather than their sex.

Do men produce eggs?
What about (XX) women with a genetic anomaly that has them not producing eggs? Are they really men?

No one is forcing you to identify as trans.
But they are trying to force me to believe they are the sex that they self-identify as, even if the biological truth contradicts their beliefs.

No they aren't, they are simply asking you to respect them and their choice. To treat them as a human being. You're free to believe whatever you want... on the inside.

Same thing for same sex couples. You're free to believe whatever the fuck you want, in private.

As for the article I posted that's just one of many Bills and Laws introduced trying to Guess what? Enforce YOUR belief on a group of people and prevent them from living their life

From Sports, to bathrooms, to literature to what health care they can and can't have access to. Over 238 bills in 2022 alone. There's even a Bill being introduced right now trying to redefine documentation and education about transgenderism as sexual material.

And to your comment about wanting the sports to be "fair" in regards to the witch hunts it's goddamn kids games not the fucking NFL, the girl's only crime was not looking "girly" enough and winning. What's next? check all the winners for steroids? Because mommy and daddy didn't like their kid coming in second?

You sound like you're getting a tad worked up over this. Relax.

The truth is that they are demanding accommodation by all based on a belief not shared by all. They believe they are female, so demand access to biological female bathrooms and change rooms. The believe they are female, so demand the right to compete unfairly against biological females in sports at every level, which is unfair at every level. The list goes on. So you see, quiet respect of their private choices is not all they are asking for when it bleeds over into the public domain. It stops being an ask and becomes a demand. That infringes on the rights of others.

To me the question of understanding closely intersects with the question of mutual respect.

If a biological male or female wants to dress up in a certain fashion, adopt certain mannerisms and behaviours, modify their bodies to look/feel a particular way, I respect their right to do that. They are also free to believe in their own minds that they are for all intents and purposes a member of their biologically opposing sex. I draw the line when somebody attempts to force me to also believe what they believe, with no consideration for my personal beliefs, value system, perspectives or choices, else be branded 'phobic'.

My perspectives/opinions/beliefs are not 'less than' just because they do not concur with others' on any subject, including the subject of transexuality. I do not deserve to be marginalized, harassed, ridiculed, or cancelled because I don't just agree.

You do you, but don't ever try to force you on me.
Very well said. I have absolutely nothing against trans people as well and I agree with everything you said! We are all entitled to believe in whatever we want to believe in as long as it’s not hurting anybody. We should not get mad at or ridicule people for not having the same belief systems whether it’s someone’s gender, religion, politics or even the colour of the damn sky.

You can put lipstick on a pig but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still a pig.

So you are upset about what other people think. Thanks for confirming that.

Oh no, some people may want to take a shit somewhere (the sports thing is more complicated but that's not new as every winning athlete has biological advantages over others).

Again, in no way affects your rights.

BTW.

The arguments of someone with nothing else to contribute?
Don't beat yourself up. I'm sure you have something good to contribute here, just not in this thread it would appear. All good. You keep doing you. After all, you're so good at it! ;)

What I find odd is people’s morbid fascination with discussing murders. (And watching shows about murders and murderers.) Now that’s weird, twisted and dark.

I think for most, the fascination comes from the fact we can't even fathom the idea of doing something so heinous and grotesque, so trying to understand the mind of someone that would do such a thing is intriguing. Having that said, I tried to watch the Dahmer series on Netflix. I got to about middle of 2nd or 3rd episode and couldn't go on. It was just to fucked up. Not to mention, they got a little to graphic with gay scenes, and not to sound homophobic, but I find the male body repulsive. I have nothing against gay's but the site of two males together makes me cringe.

I had same reaction to the Dahmer series. For.me it was midway through first episode when he was getting ready to kill the first guy of the series. Netflix was turning the scene into of gay porn movie. I thought to myself, that’s it. I ain’t watching gay porn! This is yet another example of mainstream media trying to normalize gay [porn] by weaving it into a “critically acclaimed” docu-drama. The producers at Netflix are sick af.

They pulled same shit with that Cuties movie. With Cuties, Netflix was trying to normalize child porn. What is wrong with the people at Netflix??
Yup. I actually fast forwarded that part, but then a similar scene came up in the next episode or so and I was like "fuck this...".

Never heard of "Cuties" and by the sounds of it, I don't want to know about it.

But I think Jenner said that he was never interested in men. He/she dates women no? So who is giving him the bone?
Obviously women with strap ons. Makes perfect sense to me. Transition to a woman so I can get fucked by women with strap ons. As opposed to admitting you are gay and getting fucked by dudes.

I can picture Kris Jenner wearing a strap on and pegging Caitlyn with it when they were still Bruce.
Can someone please come up with a less confusing pronoun than 'they'? It makes the context of a sentence very confusing. You sentence conveys that Bruce and Kris were one entity combined. WHy not just word the sentence as follows.

I can picture Kris Jenner wearing a strap on and pegging Caitlyn with it when Caitlyn was still Bruce.

Still somewhat confusing of a sentence, especially for a non-native speaker, but much clearer on who is being referred to.
