Does ovechkin deserve a goodbye tour?

I can't see him playing after this year and being a ripken, Jeter, kobe type hanger on that hurts the franchise. His stats are awful and I'm sure his play isn't much better. His contract is up and the capitals have to handle this delicately.

Will he play another year in another city or play at home in Russia for a year? The bruins got rid of chara when he could no longer play at a high level.
