Blah Blah Blah... say whay you all will !! BUT I personally see Domi as another Wendell Clarke .. He is really a FAN Favorite (I think) and really how many more years in TO ?? Maybe he will be used in a multi-player deal during the season .. Do we really don't know ~

closer to playoffs is when teams will pay more for a tough-guy... Mario Lemieux knows this and thought he'd save some dough and get one now... but from a leafs standpoint... signing Domi for as low as they could (debatable) isn't a dumb move.

I think they take shots because they are also fans of the game, and want to see the team win. .

....but the best media are objective ones...that don't let their personal feelings get in the way of reporting the facts....You and I are the fans...thier job is to be informative,and at times entertaining, but they are not to be fans....

Well said. The quality of the T.O. media, with a few exceptions is very poor. They go for the cheap shots, hide behind their mikes or pens and god forbid anyone who actually stands up to them.
Tie is a ham, sure he is. He doesn't say the usual stuff athletes do...the usual cliches, rather he speaks his mind. I respect that even if I may not agree with him. He has a valuable role to play on the ice. Of course he doesn't fight every one these days, there are others to do that.But he can play - 3rd or 4th line - and he still has a presence on the ice. In the playoffs he comes to play, and he backs up his teammates and his team. Is he worth $1.25 mill? Probably not, but he will be making less than the average salary in the league ( lets assume $36mill payroll/23 players is just over $1.5mill each).
