I thought she was booted out of the party after her umpteenth loss.

While I agree with her stance on LTC homes, the lady doth protest way too much. It would be helpful if she would simply ask her followers to stay home instead of constantly criticizing people who are doing the heavy lifting.

That was hilarious and a pretty accurate analogy.
Horwath is excruciatingly nauseating.

She has already lost 3 elections.
Don`t they have any new prospective leaders?

Don't understand why people think it's sexist and mysogynistic comment.
Because it's a useful label. It's just another tool they use to win one over on their opponents. If something can be even remotely construed as sexist, they'll use it. And if they can't find the sexist angle, they'll call it mansplaining, so effectively any time a man dresses down a woman it's misogynistic.

Doug Ford may be in a stink now with 7/11.
Apparently he met with the CEO and now they are going to start selling booze.
Nothing like handing those profits to a foreign chain and taking it out of the LCBO.

What does this have to do with this thread?

Can you not help yourself at all?

She is a bit desperate because the next one is her last kick at the can. And its a good bet Ford will win another term.

As long as he promises to further regulate if not outright turn LTC homes into publicly funded non profits. And the rollout runs smooth.

I guess the answer is you can't
The reaction to this province wide seems to be..."meh", or, "ya, he shouldn't have said it, but its kinda true", and "where is the misogyny?"

Which means Horvath has no shot next election, if people are indifferent to her. And with Deloca a non entity, Ford is the leader.

So the poster cant have him coming out ahead in a thread, and needs to troll to change the channel.

I'd like to see Doug and Andrea do Jane Curtin and Dan Aykroyd 's Weekend Update skit from Saturday Night Live from years past. Word for word.

You mean like what grranny Wynne did with grocery stores?

Corner stores such as 7-11 will have no where near the stock and selection of the LCBO. They will only carry basic beer and wine. I doubt you will even see hard liquor.

Nothing to worry about here...

The cons have been out to get rid of the LCBO for decades, though it provides billions to the coffers.
There are things to worry about.

Yet the Liberals were the first government to actually start doing it. Are you not outraged at them for that? Were you also happy when granny Wynne decided that instead of allowing small businesses like corner stores trying to make a few extra bucks that she instead gave those profits to her rich big business friends (donors)?

It's my understanding 7-11 wants to serve alcohol to be consumed on premises, not sell to take home.
