I voted for Ms. Wynn on Dougie's first go--around and I couldn't stand his style but he's toned it down since. Plus he makes me very happy when he bashes the yahoos. Now, present me with a viable Liberal leader with a winnable platform and I can easily be swayed away from Dougie.
".....he's toned it down since."?

Wait, oh yeah, you're joking.

If anything, he has amped up his right wing populist, divisive culture war politics and fake, folksy 'common sense' bullshit and actions. What's worse is that he is engaging in the largest transfer of public assets, services and 'good' to his developer buddies and private and corporate interests. I'm shocked that u seem unconcerned about this.

When he isn't parading round in a unitard as Captain Extra 10% Tariffs Man on American news networks and media he is busy sticking in his bulbous nose in and meddling, muddling, fiddling about in the he minutiae of civic governess.

Stay in your lane and just do your job.

Stay on topic Frankie.

RENT CONTROL,

has he pulled back,

YES OR NO?
DoFo rolled back rent control in 2018, that's a different subject. This bill was about disallowing lease rollovers. The rent control changes in 2018 lead to massive increase in rental costs and less availability. So, no, DoFo is not pulling back his rent control changes from 2018.

I may be ignorant here but isn’t rent control a max amount that rent can be upped yearly???? I didn’t see anything about that in the article. Just more ways a landlord can end tenant after the lease is up. Am I wrong?
You're right, this bill was about taking away legal annual rollovers of leases. So that a landlord would be free to kick people out and/or raise rents after the end of every lease.
He already screwed up the Landlord Tennant Board, now that gives massive preference to corporate landlords and mom and pop landlords wait forever for answers.

Was this thread about Ford's new proposed Rent Control policy or the one from 2018?

Once you answer this one honestly, please give me a proper YES or NO answer to my original question.

Ford is a very skilled politician...He can dress himself up as a populist every day guy and win the support of the majority of the populace....but in reality he heads a right wing Govt bent on weaken public services, active in Cronyism..and is the govt arm of Corporate interests .....nothing more and nothing less

You asked about rent control when Ford's legislation is about ending leases.
I answered accurately and honestly about Ford's previous cuts to rent control and about his moves to end lease rollovers.

No, Doug Ford has not ended his cuts to rent control.
That is an accurate and honest answer to your question.
