All of those things were cancelled? Oh, btw, the Republican Party was born out of the anti slavery movement, was responsible for ending it.
No, but the far-right in the US sure tried hard to do so. And your commentary about the US Republican Party ending slavery, while true, is at the same time an extremely weak argument.
If you knew your history, which you apparently don't, 155 years ago the US Republican party was a party for national unity, whilst America's Democrat party was largely made up of pro-slavery Southern Democrats. After the US Civil War, the Democrat Party swept the southern states due to the Republicans being the "party of Lincoln" that ended slavery.
Throughout most of the 20th century, the Southern US continued to support the Democrats, which had become a party largely embraced by the poor and the working classes. In 1964 Lyndon Johnson, a Democrat, signed the Civil Rights Act, which effectively ended any support from white southerners the Democrats had.
The Republican Party saw an opportunity to win votes by appealing to southerners' racism and launched the Southern Strategy to do so -- and they succeeded.
So, in short, comparing America's Republican Party of today with America's Republican Party of 155 years ago is absolutely ridiculous and shows you don't have a clue of what you're talking about.
