Interesting article. It begins with a study that was prompted when a school couldn't field enough trebles for the Boys' Choir because everyone's voices were changing.

My new buzzword for the day: Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals. Apparently this was part of the reason we banned Bisphenol A. Phthalates are also known offenders.

As an interesting bit of trivia, girls tend to get their periods earlier if they don't live with their fathers.

It wasn't uncommon years ago to CASTRATE young boys to maintain their high pitched voices in some of the Church choirs in Europe mostly Italy and Germany if I recall.
