Twitter has never been a leftist mouthpiece.
Like Facebook, it has always been a place that boosted right wing nonsense. Right wing nonsense is good engagement!

Not sure why you think they got good severance packages.
It's been a shit show.

All billionaires are bad.
He's just one of the richest and most powerful and has a weird fan base.

It's not like Bezos or Gates or Zuckerburg or Soros are good people.
Twitter has been a "left" and "right" mouth piece.

But the majority of billionaires are not good people, huge egos, god complex type mentalities.

There are a lot of billionaires out there...I don't see why he's bad? because he fired some employees he deem detrimental to his business? that shit happens everywhere...I'm pretty sure they got some nice severance packages...and probably just happy not to work for a "dick ass employer" like him....or you think h e's bad because twitter no longer just a leftist mouthpiece because of Elon?
Twitter and social media are fair game for fuckery IMHO, if there is fuckery then it should be in the realm of bits and bytes.

About a month ago Elon was talking about the dangers of AI and how there should be a lot of thought put into safety and blah blah blah, this was in reference to ChatGPT and other similar large language models. However, back 2 years ago he tweeted that full self-driving is ready and his Tesla customers can start using it as real full self-driving. In reality, Tesla was only certified for level 2 autonomy, other companies like Honda were certified for level 3. Level 5 is considered full self-driving. Anyways, as you can imagine many accidents happened and many people were injured or even killed.

Forget left-vs-right. Musk is an idiot, a hypocrite, and on top of that a billionaire.

He's a hypocrite. He wanted to make Twitter free from censorship but then banned people who disparaged him, banned the use of "cis" or "cisgender" (which aren't political statements or attacks, they're accurate categories), and banned ex-employees who answered his public questions. But then allowed hate speech (despite it violating the Twitter terms of service) and bigotry which leads to violence. Forget what side of the political spectrum you're on, he claims to want freedom but enforces it when it supports him and hate and eliminates that same freedom from people who disagree with him or who want to stop violence and hate. That's hypocrisy.

He's an idiot. He wanted to look smart and powerful so he tweeted a bunch of bullshit and got called on it, getting forced to buy Twitter. He claimed everyone who he fired went to build the new Threads app, but Meta has the paper trail proving that's a lie. He's a big whiny baby who throws tantrums when he gets called out for being wrong and can't accept it.

And billionaires in general are messed up if you think about it. Get 1000 people in a room with 1 billionaire and the rest completely broke with zero money each. On average, everyone in that room is a millionaire. They say one million seconds is 12 minutes but a billion seconds is 30 years. You can't get that much money from working. You get it from siphoning money away from your employees. With a net worth of over $200 billion, If he gave $2million to each Tesla employee he'd still have billions of dollars left. As a rich guy, he gets tax breaks for a ton of stuff so they tend to pay lower tax rates then the rest of us. But if that money was instead paid as higher wages to his employees, they'd pay more into taxes (leading to better schools, hospitals, public services), plus everyday people are more likely to spend money in the economy on stuff like food and fun (boosting the economy) compared to rich people who put their money into savings and investments and property (where it stops circulating, slowing the economy).

He's an idiot who got rich so everyone thinks he's a genius.
Meanwhile he's smoking joints on the Rogan podcast while his employees get fired for failing employee drug tests. Make it make sense.

He's a fraud, but his constant posting memes on twitter is probably why people like him so much (along with the smoking joints on Rogan), that and "doge to the moon" shit, he's a joke stringing people along.
He's not as smart as he claims. There was a great twitter thread, I think 20 tweets deep questioning and pointing out his educational claims and his ideas, which essentially painted him out to be a Thomas Edison 2.0.
Unfortunately the guy made the pinned tweet private so it's not accessible anymore.

Here's a channel by a guy who actually knows his shit and takes Elon to task, read the comments. lol

About the only thing I thought clever about Twitter was the premise of short 'tweets', thereby forcing a tight, edited meaningful message. The whole bird tweeting theme was brilliant branding, congruent with the fundamental premise of the platform. The blue coloured bird represents a refined, vibrant, positive, friendly and trustworthy forum..

Edit: Hmmmmm..... so after reading what I wrote above... Elon is actually a genius in branding! What better symbol to represent his crude, negative, societal battlefield full of lies and bullshit than a BIG BLACK X?

Not so sure about your assessment. One I'm seeing white in the X.

A black X was usually used to represent Malcolm on certain merchanside, back in the day. Is your representation of the so called big black X how he was viewed by those opposed him?

Is this the same employer that thinks it's ok to be racist at the workplace, and the victims of racism on the job should just grow thicker skin...or perhaps find another job so that the fellow employees can carry on being racist in peace?

I don't believe in "billionares are bad"...i don't think that's a good indicator of whether a person is good or bad.

You are rright. It is a white X on a black background.

And no, I didn't or don't mean to imply it applies to Malcolm in any negative terms.

The point I was trying to make was that the Twitter bird was a positive logo with a congruent message. An X is welll.... nothing at best. An X is often used to cancel or negate something.

What's this? Has Musk relented? I can once again view Twitter X feeds without a log-on. At least I could just a moment ago.

I wish people stop posting Twitter or X links because it only takes you to a login page. I don't have social media nor do I care for it.
