Next time Citizen Kane plays at the Lightbox do yourself a favour and check it out on a big screen. It's gorgeous.I always check out TCM channel for classic great films movies, I saw Citizen Cane for the first time ever recently , and wondered why I have never seen it before, it truly is perhaps the greatest film of all time.
AMC channel also plays good old movies, watched The Sting" recently haven't seen it in years, great fun film.
That movie is so classic. Booger cracks me up.Revenge of the nerds was on a few nights ago.
I feel the same way whenever "Killdozer" is on.Flipped on the tv and Pretty Woman was just starting.
Can't help but watch. Light fun and a few good laughs.
Not to mention that Edward is the ultimate hobbyist.
I'd like to have his budget and lifestyle for a while.
Blazing Saddles because you can't make or show movies like that anymore.
Great book and almost equally great movie. It's pretty rare when the movie is as good (or better) than the novel. When all the fuss was happening about the sequel to "Kill a Mockingbird" went got the book and watched the movie. Great stuff, given the times. Both the book and the movie are fantastic.
Jaws and The Godfather are two more examples.Great book and almost equally great movie. It's pretty rare when the movie is as good (or better) than the novel.
never read those books...............maybe I should for comparison purposes. Obviously epic films. I think I've seen Jaws about 15-20 times nowJaws and The Godfather are two more examples.
