The reason we have a basic human right of free speech is because there's a basic human instinct to shut up people saying unpleasant things. There's always someone trying to shut someone else up and making the best case they can for doing it. So there must always be pushback, and usually there is, as the story says there was to this proposal.
The toughest job the proponents face, as with all porn bans, will be how to define the evil stuff and still leave Calvin Klein free to sell his underwear. Not that they want to, in fact his sort of ads are being targetted, but they really don't want the sort of pushback such guys can muster. I'd bet they'll try to avoid any definitions whatever, as 'we all know what porn is" is the only definition that's ever lasted.
Just useless as a standard.
