A dancer told me once that her father came in and requested a dance from her. ( she refused ) She had not seen her father since he walked out on her mother and 2 brothers when she was 10 years old. She had changed in appearance quite a bit in the 14 years since she saw her father, evidently he did not change a bit.
Holy crap!!

Only once that I remember it happen to me.

It was the last song of the night. All the bright lights came on... DJ announced last song/dance just as this dancer I been trying to get all night walked by. I poped the question... she said no thanks.

Being refused by a stripper would seriously bruise my ego I think
Wow, that's nice.

Because strippers are such low life forms that they should be honoured to spend time with such studly, handsome and intelligent men as yourself, right?

If a stripper is too selective and snobbish I do blame her. If a stripper has so many regulars that she can't take a chance on anyone new, it means she should be working at a higher priced place... maybe somewhere in a place like New York City or Las Vegas.

Toronto is much larger and affluent than Vegas. The pay may appear high in Vegas but the money patrons are fly by night so I'd suspect that good regulars would be tougher to get.

Toronto is a top 5 city in North America for size and wealth so I see it as a cradle of cash. Vegas though, tourists bucks only and a coupla shooters if you're lucky.

But I'm a guy, just talking outta my ass like you.

I asked a female friend who used to be a dancer what gives with this phenomenon and she explained that some dancers wont dance for you if you:

7. Some wont trust you if you are not drinking
As a guy who doesn`t drink, I`m curious why that may motivate a dasncer to trust me less. I`d imagine there`d be several reasons why a customer at the club isn`t drinking alcohol (i.e. driving home, recovering alcoholic, doesn`t want SO to smell it on his breath etc.)

Could it be that if a guy`s sober then he`s less likely to spend more than he originally intended?

I wonder about that one too, because of the RIDES and just general patrols by the cops theres lots of times i dont drink at all when going to any bar or an SC and its never been a prob for me,although i have had dancers and waitresses i know ask me why im not drinking and i told them why,all agreed with my thinking on that one,i also saw in that list about refusing to dance for guys who come in alone, well,I ALWAYS go alone, none of my friends are into the SC scene and I prefer to go alone,i took a friend of mine one time and i found it hard to chat with any dancers i knew because of him being there, and hes not someone who understands the VIP concept either and all id hear from him is geez, you were gone awhile, how much did you drop on her??
Much more enjoyable for me on my own!

Exactly. And don't forget, a lot of guys are assholes so I don't blame strippers from being selective.
A lot of women are assholes too but what's your point . Unless a guy was being obnoxious it would be pretty tough to tell if he was an asshole without first dancing for him.

Glavaman, rejected at Taboo?!? That's about as unlikely as getting rejected by Eminem's mom.

When I go to SCs I usually go alone too. If you look in around in an SC, you will see that at least a third of the guys there have come alone. All it takes is one A-hole in a group to mess up your odds for high mileage.

If you don't go with any A-hole or too big a group, there really should be no mileage difference as compared to whether you go alone.

Yes it is with some . Women however are more likely to scam and pretend they are nice then screw you royally .
In the case of the guy refused a dance what ,however, made you feel he was an asshole ?

Because we are paid sex workers so if the cash is there we are suppose to do what we are told.

Seriously, it happens all the time. Most people don't think it does, but it does. When I was a dancer many many many years ago I would reject maybe 2-3 people a shift on a slow night. My reasons, I didn't like doing one song dances, I didn't like doing table dancers {none booth}. I don't need ot be dancing for 10 bucks from one guy but while the rest of the club is getting a free show. Smell of the guy, overly drunk guys. Or sometimes it was a simple as I was only on shift to do my stage shows, I didn't want to do VIP dancees that night. If you were only declined by the one lady, not worry about because it mostly is not you but her. If you are declined by most if not all, then you know it is you and not them.

I hate that term, "sex workers".
Ruins the illusion that they love me and exist to give me attention. ;)
