So why did he run?
Did you not read the whole article????

According to the rapper, some officers are known to be “aggressive” and that it puts fear in the heart of the community, which in turn pushes them to flee in order to protect themselves and stay alive.
Also

Flowers claims one officer told him that they stopped him because they found a bag of drugs and his ID along with it.

Flowers says this was not possible because he had his ID, wallet and cash all within reach in his pocket.

I did. I see no reason for him to run. Unfortunately a police harassment claim would just make it worse.
You may not but I do. They apparently stopped him for a bag of drugs with his ID in which is bullshit. You are ok with cops falsely accusing you of shit so they can harass you? Or worse, falsely imprison you, rough you up? If arrested for drugs, would you lose your job? Family, respect?

There is reason to run. Not all have the resources or the whiteness to be able to navigate aggressive cops.

Maybe an ounce of common sense here would help.
Running from the cops will NEVER make the situation better.
You dont argue with cops, you do as they say.
You will have your day in court
I get that but fear is a real thing. And valid for a lot of POC. It is a symptom behaviour.

Let me see now . The police are driving around with his ID and a bag of drugs . Just in case they come across him to plant it on him . The better explanation is . When he threw the drugs out of his pocket his ID fell out to .

The street drug dealers are not the smartest people .

Sounds more like they pulled his ID after his fall and then planted it with drugs.

It's not uncommon for police to plant drugs on people, especially if they have a record.

Dude claims he had his ID.

' Flowers says this was not possible because he had his ID, wallet and cash all within reach in his pocket. "

So did the cops make the ID up on the spot .Either one of us were there . But I think my scenario makes more sense .

The most important thing here is there's no official word from the police. That to me is just very weird.

Until we see a police report, we are going off nothing here.

Black man not even charged with a crime, no official statement from the police
TERB: He's guilty, why wouldn't he be? I just know it, he's a "Thug".

Non-Black man caught human-trafficking, holding large stock of firearms and drugs
TERB: Andy is a good guy. I'm not sure what's happening here. Despite the evidence and the year long investigate, I think Law Enforcement got it wrong. Don't they have anything better to do?

 This site.

Given his status as a wrapper, I thought being arrested, beat up and thrown in jail would improve his professional and social standing…..
