Farkin' Asshat???

Just wondering about the use of the two words Fark(ing) and Asshat. I have noticed recently that they are used a lot here on Terb and wonder a bit about their origin and meaning.

I know the obvious meaning of each word but wonder about why these two words are in such common use now.

Perhaps I have to much farkin' time on my hands.
