Cellphone: Blackberry(go ahead and laugh, my Passport works great and doesn't blow up or get hacked)

Shoes: Sketchers. Stylish and very comfortable. Durable too.

Other than that I actually am not much of a consumer so no real brand loyalty. When I need to do a larger purchase I research online and with friends because things change.

Of those 3, I am only loyal to 1 of them.

Athletic shoes: Saucony for running. Have been using them for about 20 years and also come highly recommended from my orthotics doctor.

Adidas for everything they make.
Started with the shoes back in the 70s and have been loyal ever since and grew with the brand as they introduced new product lines over the years.

I have no brand loyalty. Whatever works well and lasts.
I have a old used IPhone that works well.
For casual clothes I'm pretty loyal to Value Village.
For dress clothes.......Father's Day!
Shoes are important. I pay whatever it takes for comfort and durability.
And even though they piss me off in innumerable ways, I'm loyal to the TTC.

Cell; used a Blackberry Torch for about six, seven years. Was thinking about a Blackberry upgrade then I saw the Samsung Edge 7. So far so good had it about 9, 10 months.

Everyday shoes; go to store pick out several name brands start trying on. First one to fit comfortably I buy. I do have favorite brands I try first.

Jeans; Levis and only Levis.

Coca Cola. Everything is better with a Coke. Now I am onto Coke Life.

I'm not that impressed with Samsung. I have an s7 now, and once upon a time I had an earlier galaxy. In between I had Google Nexus phones, one from LG and I think one from HTC.

The Samsungs always have some kind of problem. Charging ports get loose, the bloatware they install makes me have to restart the phone. They look and feel great when you first get them because mostly they make the phone body out of "premium"material, but it's superficial.

I find core long term quality is just not there and in future I will probably avoid Samsung.

My s7 is OK, but my Nexus phones were better quality. Phone body may have been plastic but the phones were workhorses and never had problems.

As for the premium phone body it's fake. The paint scratches off the metal and around the charging port on my point is all dinged up from times when I wasn't too careful aiming the USB cable into the port (like plugging it in in the dark). Plastic cases don't have this problem and Samsung used cheap paint on the "premium" metal phone body.

Not impressed.

I started this century with Motorola but it's been Samsung ever since. The rest of my brands are for specific reasons.

Shirts - American Eagle: I don't feel strangled when I have to wear a suit and tie, and they look sharp without.

I have wide insteps, therefore:

Athletic shoes - Dunham (New Balance)
Formal shoes - Geox

After I bought these I never had an issue with the charger port. Doesn't matter which way you plug them in
