Annessa, I totally agree. Also, X-Men 3 is going to be much better now that Hugh Jackman has agreed to portray Wolverine one more time. There was some question recently if he was going to do it. He was apparently offered a pivotal role in Howards'/Hanks' DaVinci Code which also starts shooting this summer.

Spiderman 2 was way better than the first Spiderman. However I might get sick of Spiderman after 4 sequels.
I think X-Men has more potential in the long run, if they can keep the same cast. X-Men could create better stories with more characters.

Ya know what. The punisher with Tomas Jane wasn't bad but it could have been a lot better. The direction was HORRIBLE in terms of pacing and style. JMHO of course.
Although x-men is one of my favs, it does not follow the comics but Singer had a good alternative and it worked for some reason. My fav comic book movie is still spiderman. Why? It was made by a guy who loved and understood the material. Tim Burton's batman was OK considering he never read the material but, again, could have been done a lot better. The new batman movie should be good, i hope.
Tuggers right, the x-men would make better material to make a franchise than spiderman. I wish they would make a wolverine story, possibly when he went to japan like in the graphic novel. And make it really bloody and graphic kinda like Kill Bill.

No, I voted for X-Men. Singer may not have been a comic book fan, but he understood the importance of keeping the characters and their motivations consistent with what fans know and expect. The casting for future X-movies is uncertain, but I'd argue the only "must have" is Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Maybe Patrick Stewart as Professor X. Let's face it, you could get any schlub to play Cyclops, and you really don't need an Oscar winning actress to play Storm.
Anyone know the storyline of X-Men 3? Will we see more of Colossus? Who's the villian? Juggernaut? The Blob? The Sentinels?
And btw, unshavenasshole, I'll say to you what I say to others who choose to hijack threads. If a topic on this board holds no interest to you, just don't view it. Why do you have to be a jerk about it?
