Apparently, they had trouble for a while with Russians coming over the border into Finland the past few years.

Finland deployed
9 infantry divisions with 327,800 men and 287 combat aircraft. The Soviet Union deployed 54 divisions, with 760,578 men, 3,200 tanks and 2,500 aircraft. Finnish losses amounted to 23,157 KIA, 1,766 MIA, 43,557 WIA and 61 aircraft. Soviet losses were 126,875 dead and missing, 264,908 wounded, 1,600 tanks and 725 planes.[1]

While Finland did win the winter war against Russian invaders they were
nonetheless wary of future aggression from Stalin for good reason.
Hence Mannerheim the greatest man in Finnish history aligned with
Adolph Hitler in the invasion into Russia. And after nearly another 8
decades Finland had to join NATO to fight aggression from Putin. History
doesn't necessarily repeat but the Finns likely will win like they did in WWII.
