I use Firefox as my browser BUT when I "TRY" to open it it says it has performed an illegal operation and I have to close it.
Updated it to firefox 1.0.7 still the same > Downloaded all windows updates that were available and still the same .
Using netscape now which is OK but would like to KNOW what is wrong with firefox. Thanks in advance .
Internet provider said to upgrade internet exsplorer and I did that too .

Happened to me a couple of times. In both cases it was some extensions I installed causing the problems. If you have installed some Firefox extensions, delete them and then update. If you can't actually get FF to open, try deleting the actual files from the extensions directory. Just an idea.
