I just installed Firefox and it seems to work great. I have so many popups at the moment with IE that I had to try this.

Anyone else out there surfing on Firefox?

I've been using firefox for about 6 months now. I like it alot. There is the occasional site that doesn't work unless the browswer you use is IE. The other thing I miss is that I had used Yahoo Companion/Toolbar. This is where I'd stored most of my bookmarks. The great thing about this is that I could even have all my bookmarks available whenever I went into a internet cafe. But now, I almost exclusively use firefox.

I'm testing Firefox right now .... I've hit a couple of sites that only supported IE ..... their loss as I was looking for the dinner menu.

I like it except whenit says to d/l a required plug-in and then it says "plug-in not available"

Using Firefox right now. Love it, especially for the tabbed browsing. There are still some IE compatability problems, making some pages a little difficult to display (like the schedule on the Allure website), but all in all it's much nicer to use than IE

Downloaded Firefox awhile back just haven't installed it yet. Been hearing many good reviews on it but have been using Opera and am very happy with Opera still. Opera blocks all pop-ups also.

Rarely use IE anymore and just keep IE for a backup browser.

Google toolbar

The Google Toolbar is also effective at blocking pop-ups. It installs itself as a tool bar in IE. I'm running it with SP2 - a sort of belt and suspenders operation. I don't know whether there's a version for Firefox.

Been on it all week and have forgotten I've changed browsers other than it doesn't break!

I hate Microsoft.

i was hoping this thread was about that 80s clint eastwood movie. too bad :(
Hey, Eastwood! He was born to play William Munny...Still not sure there was a point to that movie, besides a million cliches. I like the plot though: Bad guys avenge bad girls. Anyhow, still a personal favorite...
