Most white people who live outside the city don't know the difference between the different black ethnicities/nationalities. A lot of them in Toronto/GTA don't either. Black people are usually referred to as one group due to American media labels.
Eritreans are essentially the same people as Somali's as Eritrea was part of Somalia. Ethiopians look similar but a little different as opposed to West Africans, West Indians, and African Americans.
So why would the cops arrest him then while he was still in the hospital? Maybe I don't understand today's meaning of "good kid". Does it mean he hasn't yet shot his mother?
Yeah I saw that on the news report, the witnesses said that. However, they also said he got arrested for unrelated charges. He probably had something on him.
