Nolan might rejoin the team in 1.5 weeks - that'll be around game 4 or 5 of the series. Mats might take a little longer though. Eddie's looking good these days. The rest of the Leafs should be adequately rested and healed. Should be a good series coming up.

I think the Leaf/Flyer series will prove to be a physical and tough one. It will come down to Belfour providing more of the same stellar goaltending. The Leaf defence will have a more difficult task of keeping traffic to a minimum in front of the net. Another big factor will be key players making it back into the lineup (Sundin, Nolen). Still like the Leafs in seven.
It would certainly be great to have the Habs make it past the Lighting. A Leaf/Canadian Conference final would be a dream come true.

The Leafs will need their big guys on D to play big in this one - unlike in the Sens series, where the only real tough guy to move was a D - Chara.
Klee, McCabe and Marchment should be up to the task.
I made this point in another thread, but it bears repeating - any chance Belak could play? Instead of, say, Kaberle?

I say the Leafs will win in 6. Philadelphia is hurting on the blueline, no Eric Desjardines, and now powerplay speacialist Kim Johnsson has a broken hand and will play with a cast on. I think the Flyers are over confident since beating the devils 4 games to 1. I also believe the Flyers are over estimating there goaltending. Roberst Esche allowed 9 goals to New Jerseys pop gun offense in 5 games. in comparrison to Ed Belfour's 11 goals in 7 games. New jersey has away of making every goalie look like a Vezina Trophy candidate. Then there are the intangables......Philadelphia has Bobby Clarke as the G.M. and we don't............I have no idea how this guy still has a job, I put him in the same catagory as Mike Milbury.
Everyone is picking Toronto-could the Leafs be spent.Belfour i dont beleive can carry this play throughout the Playoffs.
Mike Zeisberger was on Daily News live from the Sun and predicted Flyers should win in 6 or 7. I can agree with that.

Some very good statements here, if the Leafs are not too banged up, they should be OK, specially if Matts returens and Nolan next week.
Remember Ottawa was the top offence in the league, and the Eagle shut that down.
If I see a flaw for T.O. it will be Philly being more rested, and I'am sure that they will attack Toronto's D, try and bang the hell out of Leetch. But his experience should prevail.

Klee can fill that role just fine - I think that McCabe, Marchment and Klee will have their hands full, but will get by.
