I like panettone (had it once) and I LOVE fruitcake. Warmed up in the microwave then put butter on it. I love the combination of sweet and salty. I don't know what's wrong with you people! lol

At least farthole pizza would have some taste to it... 🤮
No it doesn't, Three 4 One (Farthole Pizza) is the most disgusting pizza you can eat. It was the only food item available at 3:00AM, while my team and I were working on Mechanical Design projects on ACAD.

Prez reviews a farthole pizza...he's friends with Mark Calaway (The Undertaker).

I wished a hot lady a Merry Christmas with lots of figgy pudding. Funny thing, I didn't know what a figgy pudding actually is. I assumed it was a confection made with figgs. Ok got it, I hope supermarkets still sell shortening, not sure where I can find suet.

Merry Christmas to all.

Panettone is for the fru fru, Ceiling Cat probably loves it.

Being a farmaioli for life, I'd rather have a lampredotto (cows stomach) sanguichi than Penettone for Christmas dinner..ho ho ho.

Tripe -it's what's for dinner!

I’m guessing you think pineapples belong on a pizza too. 😂

As a kid I LOVED fruitcake. It was the best part of my moms Xmas cooking, that sweet bite and the thick icing, mmmm.

Now that I’m, mostly, grown up, my teeth hurt just looking at it on the shelves at the grocery store.
Store sold fruit cake is often a crime.
I make my own in mid summer and age it for at least 5 months to be cut and ready at Christmas.
Two 8x8" cakes I make have much more than $50 of fruits and nuts in them.

Pineapple definitely belongs on pizza, but dead fish doesn't
I love anchovies but I prefer them in a pasta sauce than on pizza...although almost as good.

Don Pasquale makes God's dish...capers optional.

I cook the anchovies, to quote Ray Liotta, "until it liquefies in the pan".

This is what Dino D'acampo does with Pannetonne. He pour a custard mix with about a litre of alcohol on it to make bread pudding.

Panettone was great in the 60's to the 90's only one type of style. The 90's was my intro in another country, then also here when I moved. There were only 2 companies that made it and you had to get it from the true Italian bakery back then in the 90's not the descendants Italians who think they are.

Even in the old country Panettone is not the same they tell me. I don't bother.

Also Eggnog I rather make my own. Someone here mention you need the right amount of alcohol and the type of alcohol, I believe it.

The LATTER is true of Panetone too. My family's tradition is a reserve Rhum. You just need the right amount. Lots.

You can put a slab of nutella on a slice of panettone or better make French toast with it and cover with powdered sugar and maple syrup. Yum
