I seem to recall a thread about whether or not VH is going on tour....turns out they ARE. They are scheduled to play at the ACC on Sunday, October 7th....I think I'll go to relive the 80's....lol

Namely Eddie can find his crystal meth pipe again.

Eddie can lose the rest of his teeth
Eddie can handle "just one piece of rock"
Eddie can decide that Diamond Dave is an asshole and should be replaced by Wolfgang's teenage buddy from the mall.

I remember that thread and for some reason it was deleted! Now this thread is full of bashing and rude remarks about 50 + year old rockers, go figure! With all the partying these guys have done over the years, I say they look pretty good! And for those bashing Eddie and the way he looks? First, you have no class and it says a lot about you to bash someone who's gone through battling cancer in his life!
For those in doubt here is what a reliable insider had to say about the upcoming tour. I'd take his word before anyone in this thread bashes the band and tries to find justice in youtube clips!
Van Halen Press Conference Videos & Photos

The VHND's own Dave Brandon was there, and here's his story:
Wow, what a day! I just got home from attending the Van Halen 2007 Tour Announcement. The press conference was absolutely incredible to be at in person. When I arrived and walked into the room there was this buzz floating around the room as if Elvis was going to jump on stage and say "Hello! I'm not dead after all!" Well it wasn't Elvis, but it was Van Halen with Diamond David Lee Roth. Dave was his normal, flamboyant, outgoing self, cracking everyone up and hassling reporters as he has always does. Obviously there was a lot of talk about Michael Anthony being replaced by Edward's son, Wolfgang. But if you can get past that then we should all be in for a real treat this year - a great rock show with the world's greatest front man and the man who revolutionized guitar playing! It doesn't get much better than Van Halen!!!!!
My inside source who has attended some of the tour rehearsals says that David Lee Roth is singing better than he has in 15 years and Wolfgang is just smoking on the bass - breathing new life into his father and uncle.
