The freezing rain is coming down pretty good just north of Hwy 7. I just returned from the gas station and man it's getting slippery.

It will be like a skating rink just in time for the rush!!:eek:

At least we still have those CF-18s since they couldn't afford to transport it over to the Middle East... maybe they can fly overhead and sprinkle salt over TO.

And holy crap... the amount of salt that's being dropped on the ground is crazy! I was behind a salter truck it was literally spraying and layering the ground with salt, then on the sidewalks you have those individual maintenance guys with salters. Yeesh. I'm glad I got my car the extra underbody coating.

BTW, it's very slipper on sidewalks too, I nearly broke my neck at Yonge and Sheppard.
