Those little ads that cycle through the top of TERB's pages occasionally lead you somewhere interesting - at http://www.satindreamz.com/index5.htm there's a Montreal agency that offers the equivalent of Aeroplan points for regular customers. I've never heard of a similar arrangement in Toronto, but you've got to admit it's thought-provoking!

It's especially thought-provoking for those of us with multi-hundred-thousand point Aeroplan accounts that we can't seem to use up 'cause they never have flights available when we want to book 'em.

This could be the solution Robert Milton has been looking for! Convert Aeroplan points to SP points! Anyone up for leading a delegation to AC's headquarters to talk deal points?

Isn't that the truth! I booked my flight to T.O. 3 months ahead of time and just managed to get the last free seat available on the departing and the return flight. It's ridiculous, IMO. I've had enough. Now I'm using my Avion card!

I too have stopped collecting Aeroplan points as much as possible. I now collect British Airways & Delta moreso than Aeroplan.

Long ago (5+ years ago) Select Company use to offer "see 10 and the 11th is free". I think this was dropped when the agency was sold to the current owners. Broadly speaking I think the "frequent flyer" program would only really work with agencies and not so much with indys.

So... instead of Frequent Flyer points, these would be called what? Frequent Fucker points?
