My main business is heavily structured around the IT, Encryption, and custom programming world, and I too had mixed feelings about Vista when it 1st came out. But now I have no issues with it what so ever. You guys should only pay for top products (none pre built machine) and stop buying pre made machine then you shouldn't have an issues. The one major thing is wrong with vista is that it is a resource hog, so it will take up allot of memory. By going back to Windows XP Pro 32bit or Windows 64bit. Of course you will notice the difference, but keep in mind you are comparing two totally different platforms and the functions of it. X86 only will see and use max 3gb of ram when you got to x64 you can use more gb of ram.
I can tell most on here is looking for cheap and reasonable price for a computer system, but in the end of it is still the cost. Ironical I even read reviews of guys bitching about cost of SP services and in the end they always seem to fork out the money.
It seems that people does not like change from what all the complaining is about. I would love to see what you ALL have to say when Blackcomb aka Vienna hits the market soon. It is all going to be the same bitching all over again with any type new OS environment. People will still bitch and complain about it. Let face it, we live in a world that we work with things that we don't like and we have to adapt to it functions no matter what. I'm sure there is allot of other things in the office, home and car that stuff we don't like but we as humans adapt to it functions.
