All of a sudden women that are approaching 30, are finally realizing that their nonny isn't made of gold and because of their standards they are being left in the cold. I don't like to hear that Toronto men are self absorbed but lets face it - when you have a plethora of young pussy available, why would you put up with bullshit from someone who is getting long in the tooth?

I used to think that dating women under 25 would be too young for me. Once I hopped over that boundary, I find that there is a buffet of young, sexually available women who are willing to do all kinds of fun things that these older women turn their noses up at. It is a man's market in Toronto for sure. Come on, one girl in the article says she wouldn't date someone who wears golf shirts. Honey, Carrie Bradshaw sold you a false dream lock stock and barrel. While she is pining for mr right to come along, we are finding that we don't have to be chained down by women's unrealistic expectations anymore.

What get me is these interviews & subsaquent articles only deal in the universe of 5'10"+ men. They never expose the real reason most women find a shortage of men..... because only about 11% of men are 6'+. Ask any of the single women & they will not in a million years " lower their standards" to date a short guy no matter how short they are themselves. I have never seen short men have attractive dates. The few I saw had fat ugly girlfriends.

6 years ago when I went on P.O.F. & I read in the forums section women posting their complaints that there is no " eligable" men around. There is over the years many threads like this & when you read the dozens of responses the truth is revealed. It all boils down to "eligable" = men that are athletic, Hollywood handsome & MUST be 5'11"+ The tide is NOT turning. This situation has been the same for atleat 3 decades.

This comment is most apropos in Toronto, ground zero for frustrated and gloomy people. But if you travel overseas you'll find women more receptive to your advances. Toronto people DO NOT know how to flirt. They regard attention almost always as an infringement on their personal space...really, they're pretty stupid. Having fun with the opposite sex is one of freebies that the universe gives people to offset the terrible bits about living on this earth. Why not enjoy it to the hilt? But it'll always be a challenge to get with women...they're just alot more picky than dudes, period.
