Not long ago I was paid a very unusual compliment from an SP. It really made my day and was given in a way that I know it was sincere.

What's the best/strangest/unusual/worst compliment you've received from an SP?

A dancer in the VIP:
"Hmm. You really should iron your shirt."

I'm usually pretty neat, and while the given shirt might not have had the best press, that took me right out of the moment. I didn't know what to say. I threw me off so bad I ended the VIP session after that song. Later in my head I came up with the witty, "Thanks mom."

LOL. I assume that every compliment from an SP/MPA/dancer is contrived.

I've been told by several SP's that I have beautiful eyes.

As far as the argument that all SP compliments are contrived or insincere, I think that it's best to just accept them in the spirit tht they are offered and not be so cynical about it. They're people too and are actually capable of simply appreciating and complimenting positive qualities in men.

That is terribly cynical. And not true. They are not contrived, paid for - yes. Contrived - Not always.

I actually agree--

When I turn down a dancer I always try to provide an honest compliment, and clear guidance. There's not reason to suspect that that a paid companion wouldn't do the same, well, except when they are ham fisted and say things that defy credibility. That why I love a dancer that is attractive, sensual, liberal, has half a brain (minimum) / is interesting, and works in the universe of as-honest-as-you-want-her-to-be. That's heaven (at a premium price).

Ahhh. Not always, but more often than not.

To my knowledge, I've only ever been wrong once. But she's since given me a second chance (and the fact that she's not currently working gives me some comfort as to her sincerity).

p.s., If you're read this, smooch!

Just because someone says something that is both true (or at least plausible in more than you mother's eyes) and nice, it still doesn't mean they like you in any more than a transactions sort of way. Accept it for what it is, be happy in it, and keep it within bounds you are comfortable with.

A few years ago one of the girls in my dorm worked as a waitress. Oddly she never seemed to feel compelled to randomly bring us coffee in the common room. She was a waitress, so why not bring us coffee?

She must like us, we were always getting smiles and winks and polite that from her at the restaurant.

:) (yes the above contains sarcasm ;) )

My god, people doing their job at their job!

It doesn't make her behaviour / words 'untrue', it also doesn't mean she's compelled be your friend outside of work. Accept the honest bits of transactional flattery, keep it in context, and roll your eyes when a person goes over the top. Yes, this does require a person to be socially aware, have a decent sense of self, a good BS detector, and clear boundaries for different types of transactional and non-tansactional relationships... I call that being a reasonably well adjusted adult...

i love how you can think you can tell the difference between a real compliment and a girl being nice not trying to run customers off.
