Funny. I saw this a while back too. I wish they would just leave it old school. There's a reason why vintage guitars are so expensive. They got it right the first time. It's just a gimmick man.

Plus, tuning your guitar will only train your ears better. It's like using a calculator vs. your brain.

I agree a guitar player should be able to tune by ear but if you need to tune back stage were 20+ others are practicing or tuning there interments it can be a real pain in the ass to tune your guitar by ear, and time consuming. I think an innovation like this is long overdue but you are right the price is a bit too high and I would like to see this on a newer style axe with a double action whammy bar not an out dated les Paul or even a strat

Its a gimmick. We tune backstage with quartz tuners.
