Sad did this many times, the tunnels not the dying obviously
Fuuck. That happened to me - moving to north America at age 13 didn't really know snow so dug a tunnel and it partially fell in and my shouts could not he heard and it took every ounce of my energy to get out out, like a bucking bronco in a tight space and finally a top piece broke enough i could change position to get legs under me to leverage it off. Traumatic. Even today semi claustrophobic. Sad for the kid. There but for the grace of God...
It happens more often than you think. Every parent should prohibit their children from doing this. Snow is actually extremely heavy, especially the wet kind. For young children it’s a death trap.
I wouuld not forbid it outright, but ya there needs to be an adult ready with a shovel. Its a lot of fun, but dangerous without precautions. We cant ban everything danerous and fun *bike riding skate boarding street hockey, etc just make systems to make them less dangerous.
