global warming? I love how all the global warming hype has died down now when we hit -20 C. People are so reactionary and prone to exaggeration. Global warming is a big problem but you had idiots who thought that the days of -5 C were over in Toronto and it will only get progressively warmer.

The point the doomsdayers are trying to make is that the earth is .6 degrees warmer. That could equate to up to 10 degrees in the polar region, which will melt ice and flood Manhattan. Also back in the 70s they thought that greenhouse gasses would cool the earth, as it would block out some of the suns rays.

The computer models are farked, and it is all a political ploy by the IPCC to rob the rich and give to the poor, which in actuality means Canada will become a THIRD WORLD country as we lose high paying manufacturing jobs, personal debtload increases, and high intrest rates force people out of their homes as the next recessions takes hold.

In the next federal election, vote Liberal and everything will be okay.

I have a hard time with the panic that surrounds this issue given those preaching to us own multiple SUVs and fly in private planes.....
