It was noted on the news tonight that there are more people on GM pensions than WORKING at GM.

Yep, 34,000 retired and 14,000 active.

I'm assuming that because the employer also contributes to the pension plans (50/50) that it is deemed taxpayer money. Makes him bitter. That money would have been better spent in tax cuts so he could blow more than the $300 a night he tells he spent every night while he was rolling in coin.

I've read all his bitter "pension threads" and see a pattern emerging.

But hey, he pays taxes so he can bitch about uses of tax payer money. Civil service is an easy target.... I'm sure they all spend over $400 a night in the strip club once they start collecting their pensions. Down from the $500 a night they spent while actively employed.

Talking about the government funding GM pension in addition to teachers and other retired public sector employees.

If you have a link that shows the "government" is helping the "teachers and other retired public sector employees" I'd be interested to see it.
