I first went to Bangkok in 1975, back before it became a hugely over-populated, air-polluted city. Back then, the contained sex trade, relative to today, had been built upon the visiting US forces during the Vietnam War. Checked into the then infamous Grace Hotel, which was one of the centre of attention at the time. Is that place still around? Spent my 21st birthday there with two girls. Man, those were fun times.
