My first choice as always would be Los Cabos Mexico but you would have a hard time getting there on points.Air Canada and Skyservice fly there weekly
Fantastic golf and nite life other then that Vegas in October is generally perfect weather, already booked for October via Pebble Beach. The golf is also super in Vegas as is every thing else

The quality of the golf is good....

...but not fun. Courses crowded....weather is BLAZING hot.

Everything he asked would be there though, so it depends on what you are really looking for...the golf or the apres golf...

Me and my buddies do Mrytle Beach twice a year. It isn't fancy, but the beer is cold, and there are 100+ courses within 90 minutes drive...some of them being absolutely world class if you are prepared to pay (but all less than Vegas).

The apres golf isn't bad either...more trashy than classy, but you WILL get laid if you have "game"....

I go to Santee S.C every October. Great golf but not much night life. For that you might want to consider Myrtle Beach (but at about 50% more costs).

first of all thanks for the input. I have been to Mrytle twice and was really looking for something different.
I was looking into alabama either the Robert Trent Jones Trail or around Mobile. The worry down there might be hurricane damage though. I was also told that the chicago area is great.

any one have any insite into this?

For a casino/golf trip, I also recommend Tunica, Miss. They weren't touched by Katrina.

I found stuff dirt cheap down there and the Southern hospitality is true. Amazing the stuff I got away with down there. ;)

Try Nassau, golf is OK. But has Casino, beach & night life.

Only 3 hrs out of T.O.

Went to Miami in the Spring and had a great time. Stayed on South beach and drove to the courses, about 30 to 45 minutes away. Great night life and beach action.

Hilton Head Island, SC - local arport serviced by US Air out of Charlotte (can use Aeroplan points) as well as 45 minutes from Savannah, Ga airport. 30+ courses on the island or just off the island. Various nightlife (2 strip clubs on the island but SC laws are topless only - full nude back in Savannah). 2 hours from Charleston, SC and more golf. There is a riverboat casino in Savannah as well.

I go to HHI every year - the PGA has the Heritage Tournament there every April.

...both great golf and great nightlife in Chicago - and if you are willing to drive a distance, casino boats.

But - the casino boats are QUITE a distance....no drinking all night a stubbling / cabbing back to the hotel...and casino boat gambling is nothing like Vegas or Atlantic city gambling....think little old ladies at the nickel slots, and $5 blackjack tables. Classly it ain't...
